Recently, game publisher 3DM Games announced that it will distribute the cyberpunk-style first-person action game “Tokyo Underground Killers” developed by Japan’s Phoenix Game Productions studio. Developed by Unreal 4, this game has a unique neon aesthetic and high-speed combat system, supports Chinese, and is expected to be launched this year.
Set in a near-future Tokyo, players will take on the role of “Kobayashi”, a vampire killer with the ability to manipulate blood, employed by the criminal group “Gokuraku” to hunt down members of an evil organization called “Flatliners”. Inspired by the classic track “Once in a Lifetime” by the band Talking Heads, the plot presents a narrative full of philosophical reflection through dynamic comic-style cutscenes.
