Open the MathType software,
Once opened, go directly to the editing interface. Place the cursor in the editing area, click the [Edit] – [caret] command in the MathType menu, and then a [caret] window will pop up.
In the Caret window, select Description from the View drop-down menu and click New Search at the back.
In the dialog box that pops up, enter [EUR] and click [OK].
The euro symbol will appear in the symbol panel in the [Caret] window, click on it to insert it.
