Polymer materials in Sword Star are key materials for making costumes in the game, and to obtain them, you will have to loot chests scattered throughout the game to find these materials, however, once you get the blueprint, you may not immediately have enough polymer materials to make the desired costume.
How to get the Sword Star polymer material
Polymer materials are the key materials for making nanosuits, basically Eve’s clothing, and you can discover their design patterns as you explore. There are three types of polymers: ordinary, advanced, and extreme.
You can find these materials by looting chests scattered throughout the game. However, once you get the blueprint, you may not immediately have enough polymer material to create the desired garment.
Fortunately, there is a shop early in the game that sells polymer materials, keep this store in mind, it may come in handy later.
After you pass Edos 7 and confront the first Netiba boss, King Kong, you will meet a new character. Together you will reach a central area of the game – Xion.
On your first exploration of Xion, you’ll be directed to the sister scrapyard shop located west of town, where you’ll meet Kaeya. Kaeya sells a variety of items, including all three types of polymers, at very cheap prices.
Whenever you get a new blueprint and want to craft it, remember to go to Kaeya and buy the polymer you need. Please note that nanosuits can only be crafted in supply camps.
These nanosuits do not provide any attribute bonuses or other benefits, they are purely cosmetic.
