2. The necessary steps required to perform battery calibration manually will be detailed next.
3. First: In the operating system (taking Windows XP as an example), turn on the power management option. Adjust the power usage schedule to always on, set the display and hard disk shutdown time to a minimum, and select Never(3) for system standby time.
4. Second: Switch to the alarm setting interface in the power supply options, cancel all alarm checkboxes (as shown in Figure 4), and ensure that the battery can be fully discharged until the device automatically shuts down.
5. Final step: After completing the above settings, turn off all running programs, disconnect the WiFi connection, and unplug the power adapter, relying only on battery power. Do not do anything during this process, wait for the battery to drain and cause the device to shut down automatically. The process can last for several hours. When the battery is completely discharged, reconnect the power adapter and fully charge the battery to complete a complete battery calibration process.
